An entry I made in my journal today:
I have yet another Oracle card deck called "The Wisdom of Avalon Oracle Cards" By Colette Baron-Reid. A pack of 52 beautifully illustrated cards with the Arthurian theme - think Lady of the Lake/Merlin.

I decided to contact my spiritual half-sister, Joanne, a young female spirit, around the age of 5 yrs old, whom 3 separate Intuitives have sensed, seen and told me is around me at all times. Through the use of these cards, I asked her the question "How may I see you with my own eyes?". Many times I have tried concentrating and trying to visualize her in front of me, either during my meditations or just sitting in a chair and staring at the wall. Hasn't happened.
After shuffling the cards 9 times, I felt a sensation in my left hand, so used that to choose the card. The sensation was a strange one, but similar to how my friend described her 'automatic writing' feeling in her arm - a tingly feeling accompanied by a push/pull sensation - like being guided.
The cards slipped and the chosen card was 'Forgiveness'. This did not seem right to me, due to the slip, so I chose the very next card - 'Letting Go'. Made more sense, but confusing due to which card would have been 'the one'. I didn't want to dismiss the previous card as it may have been my ego telling me to go to the next card.
Due to the dual cards chosen, I decided to re-ask the question and also request the same card, if indeed it was the card that was accurate. I re-shuffled at least 5 times and the same sensation came over my arm/hand. Cut the cards, and they slipped again! This was irritating. The card I received was 'Joy' and again, my head was telling me it didn't feel right, so I went to the very next card. Well... it was 'Letting Go'.
Tears welled up for a bit as I said my thank you to Joanne.
Move through life with your eyes, mind and heart open, and many things will be made clear to you on your journey. Take care.
